All about the gut…

Einstein intuition Oh dear. Tried a coconut oil and brown sugar scrub. No longer vegan. I ate my face!!!

After yesterday’s blog post, a friend wrote to remind me that every day is a do-over. OMG. Of course it is! To prove it, I’ll let you know that today was remarkable. No more ickies or uglies. I’m not exactly sure what happened Sunday, but am beginning to narrow things down, somewhat. Also, am still filled to overflowing with gratitude for yet another do-over opportunity. Anywho, here’s what I figured out today.

I’m a sensitive, or more commonly called an empath. I’m audiovoyant with minor touches of clairvoyance. The last several years I’ve been drifting about, couch-surfing and the like. Although my mediation practice is strong, other practices have fallen away. Following my gut, I reached out to a new acquaintance yesterday for some guidance and she inquired about my grounding ritual. Oh heavens. For the love of angels, I’ve not been doing that! So, I enlisted some old thoughts, for starters, and “boom”, good vibes returned. Whew!

So, what have I learned? It’s big really, and too much to elaborate on tonight because I’ve got to sleep, but essentially my body was reminding me that nothing can harm me unless I let it. And, I had let it. My dad used to say, “When you’re out in the rain without your galoshes on, don’t be surprised if your feet get wet.”

Our minds and bodies are incredibly astute, awesomely intricate mechanisms of blood, bone, and brain, cooperating in perfect harmony – most of the time. When out of balance, we interrupt the transcendent flow. Sometimes we can regain that balance simply by finding out what’s throwing us off, and then seeking a solution. Other times, we have to depart the body. Whatever the result, we have a choice in each moment to trust our link to omniscience. That divine thread is never broken no matter what we do. It’s called intuition.

My wish tonight is that we see, hear, touch, taste and yes, smell, intuition. It is that part of our soul inextricably woven into the threads of our highest natures, our deepest selves. It speaks only truth; its purpose, to guide and protect its host. Intuition never sleeps even when we perceive it dormant. Hah! It is not dormant, rather, we are not paying attention! So let’s pay attention, shall we?

Trusting my gut, until tomorrow…

  1. Cool post, it made me think about one of my favorite quotes:

“Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to used during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course? Each of us has such a bank, it’s name is time. Every morning, it credits you 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off at a lost, whatever of this you failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against “tomorrow”. You must live in the present on today’s deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and health. The clock is running. Make the most of today.”

I like this. It is rattling around inside my head telling me I’ll be drawing on the message a lot. Thank you! And thanks for the follow. Trying to build an audience…one day at a time. 🙂
